ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
Hi there, I'm Theresa. I'm a Naturopathic Doctor and Neuroscientist in training. I'm also a mother, writer, herbal medicine maker, yoga enthusiast, and art lover. I'm passionate about making natural health accessible and understandable. I'm also intensely curious about health, healing, and the human condition; I am living in gratitude that I have the opportunity to do neuroscience research at the University of British Columbia where I can dive deeply into a fascinating subject. I blog about neuroscience, natural medicine, spirituality and life in the Pacific North West.
RESEARCH
I'm working as a graduate student in Dr. Adele Diamond's lab on a research project that aims to answer some questions about the effects of music and storytelling on mental health. Namely:
1) Effects on Mood
2) Effects on Cognition (thinking and memory)
3) Effects on Quality of Life
4) Importance of Therapeutic Relationship

CONTACT ME
Please reach out if you have any questions about the ecourses that I offer (coming soon).
Note: I'm not currently seeing one-on-one patients. If you're looking for Naturopathic care you can see a list of Canadian Naturopathic Doctors on the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors website. Due to Covid-19, Naturopathic Doctors are no longer seeing patients in person, but most have switched to a telemedicine platform to support people through this challenging time.
Due to professional constraints and in honour of my personal boundaries, I will not offer advice on specific health questions or concerns via email.
